Clay is the co-founder of Seattle Genetics, Inc. that was founded in 1997. He has been the CEO since November 2002 and the president since June 200. He was the executive vice president from December 1997 to June 2000 and CSO from December 1997 to November 2002. Clay served in many other roles in his career. Some of them are Senior Research Investigator, Interim Chairman, Director, Chairman, Principal Scientist, and other positions. He impressed in all these posts.
